Hi Reader, Ok, you’ve probably heard us mention the beautiful country of Sri Lanka in our previous emails, and there is a very good reason for that! It is our favourite place to visit; we try and visit annually and, on some occasions, twice a year. So much so, that we visited in May and December last year. Shams grew up in Sri Lanka for most of her youth, until she moved to the UK. Then when she met me, she wanted to show me around her incredible country. What she didn’t bank on, was that I would fall in love with Sri Lanka. To the degree, that it feels like our second home. The best way to describe it, is it’s the kind of destination that feels like a secret world that hasn’t been fully discovered yet. Where each day is a mix of spotting elephants on safari, relaxing on a golden beach with a king coconut in hand, to hiking up misty mountains and exploring green tea planation's. We’ve been lucky to be able to experience Sri Lanka repeatedly, and each visit brings us something new.
